This year just under 10,000 frames of 8 Ball were played in two seasons across four VNEA Senior Leagues. It is from the rankings of these leagues that we select the team that will travel to Las Vegas in May next year to compete over two weeks in a variety of scotch doubles, 8 Ball singles, 9 Ball singles, the Teams World Cup, and the teams competition. Next year we will have representatives in all three divisions; Regular; Intermediate; and, Master. The 2020 World Pool Championships will be significant for two reasons. The first is that it is the 40th anniversary of this great tournament. The second is that New Zealand will be defending the Teams World Cup that it won in the final against Germany earlier this year.
